Care, closer to home

Many families in underserved communities go without basic medical attention because a clinic visit is too far, too expensive or too uncertain. RAMES Empowerment Foundation brings care to where people already are: community halls, open compounds and canopies set up in the heart of a neighbourhood.

What we do

  • Medical Outreach

    Community-based outreach days offering free medical consultations, basic health checks and medical support to residents, delivered with healthcare professionals and volunteers.

  • Free Medicines & Supplies

    Essential medicines and supplements are provided free of charge to community members during outreaches, with particular attention to elderly residents, mothers and children.

  • Health Education

    Practical talks on maintaining healthy lifestyles and preventing common illnesses, so the benefit of each outreach lasts long after the canopy comes down.

  • Support for Vulnerable Residents

    Our outreach teams give priority to widows, young children, people living with disabilities and other residents who find it hardest to access care.
